Key Features of DU JAT 2020 Result
- DUJAT 2020 result has been declared on the basis of final answer keys after reviewing all the challnges made by the test takers
- No candidate is disqualified in DU JAT Result declaration
- Candidates are awarded percentile score in the range .01 to 100 in DU JAT
- The Overall Rank of the test taker is calculated as a 35-65 weighted average of Best 4 and JAT Score.
- In case of a candidate falling under multiple categories, rank is provided only in the categories where the candidate satisfies the minimum eligibility requirements.
- Candidates are permitted to change their preferences for course and college on the admission portal till 5 p.m. by the stipulated date which is in July first week. No change is permitted later.
- The First Allotment List is made available immediately after this process is over
- The Candidates would be required to complete admission formalities at the colleges in 2-3 days time
- It is advisable to provide "No Preference" for a course-college in which the candidate does not wish to gain admission.
Score Normalization in DU JAT Result 2020
National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the DUJAT 2020 Result after Score Normalization Process for JAT-2020 for admission to BMS/BBA (FIA) & B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics. A combined Merit List will be generated after Normalizing the scores of DU JAT 2020 exam since the exam is held in two shifts with different difficulty level. DU JAT 2020 Result Declaration Process & Merit List Cut Offs
- The scores of candidates who appear in the DU JAT 2020 entrance examination shall be subjected to a Normalization Process called EquiPercentile Equating before declaration of DU JAT 2020 result.
- The Process is widely adopted & internationally accepted method of score normalization in multi-batch examinations.
- The percentile ranks so derived& equated will be used as input criteria to finalise the merit list for shortlisting and admission to BMS/BBA (FIA) & B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics and other programmes of Delhi University colleges.
- The question papers of each shift will be different to give a fair and level competition. This will lead to slight differences in difficulty level on each shift.
- To ensure that comparison of marks is fair, marks are normalized by using the EquiPercentile Equating procedure.
- Normalization of marks process is done after both the shifts of DU JAT 2020 exam are concluded, answer keys are reviewed and finalised, for admission to the BMS/BBA (FIA) & B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics

DU JAT 2020 Counselling for Admission
After the DU JAT 2020 Result declaration, Delhi University will conduct online counselling session due to Covid-19 health risks. This year counselling will not be held at DU campus. For online counselling weightage parameters for admission to BMS/BBA/B.A. (Hons) in Business Economics courses will be used.
DU JAT 2020: Schedule and Guidelines for Admission
Delhi University will issue the schedule and guidelines for admission process based on DU JAT scores 2020 for the UG courses. The final rank-wise merit list for these courses will be declared in September last week/October first week.
For the BMS/BBA (FIA)/BA (H)BE courses and the B.El.Ed. course, applicants are permitted to edit and update their preference order of colleges (and courses) till 24 hours after the declaration of the rank-wise result
